Forest Bathing with Our Wild Edges
£10.00
Sunday May 10th
9.30 am Meet outside the Castle Hotel
Join me for a morning of calm amongst the woodlands, where I will guide you in the practice of Shinrin Yoku. Originating in Japan, the literal translation means Forest Bathing. What this means for you is time to slow down, leave your busy mind at the gate and fully immerse in the woodland. We will use our senses to connect with the trees and other wildlife living there, and prime our body for rest and rejuvenation. This is not a workshop to identify what we see, but to experience it. On a weekend to celebrate the natural world and its endless inspiration, we will celebrate trees and our relationship with them.
This is not intended to be a long hike, the pace will be slow and we will stop often to try different Forest Bathing practices….and to just enjoy the trees
This is not a hike, but a gentle stroll with lots of opportunities to stop, rest and take in the natural surroundings. The emphasis is on the quality of our connection with the woodlands, rather than how far or fast we walk!
I may invite you to sit or lie down with a tree, so it’s a good idea to bring a mat or coat to sit on.
If you have any access needs, please get in touch with Becky to discuss how we can accommodate you ourwildedges@outlook.com
